Our research activities cross the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Database Systems, and Mobile Computing. Reasoning techniques and well-founded logical approaches are applied to data and knowledge management. Theoretical lines of research investigate time and space related aspects in data and knowledge management as well as foundational concepts in privacy and security. A more applicative line of research investigates the application of knowledge-based techniques to different problems in mobile computing.
